What an amazing find! It was very authentic! Had the roti canai set with dhal and chicken curry. The chicken curry was amazing and dhal was heavenly. The crispy roti canai didn't even need the gravies. It was so good, it could even be eaten on its own. The teh tarik was perfect with right amount sweetness. The staff was very patient accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommended to Malaysian food lovers! Definitely will be back!
Food was delicious. Not too oily and good prices. Will definitely be coming back here.
Love this place. Food is always on point. This place is underrated and undervalued.
Dinner menu is short and sweet.
This is a little corner shop serving delicious Malaysian, Singaporean and Indian cuisine. It is always packed with people and filled with aroma of curry. We ordered a dosa. Really tasty and good value. Recommend chicken biryani, nasi lemak, fish curry and roti. Should also try their teh tarik.
Had the rice and 2 meats combination and it was great! Really enjoyed the lamb curry along with the chicken curry combination. The included vegetables curry and dhal went really well altogether with the rice.
Super friendly service as well, with the server checking up on our meals just to make sure everything was alright.
Pretty cosy setup, although it was along the main strip in Vic Park but it was overall a comfortable experience during lunch.
Parking was no issue as well as there was parking in the nearby residential area (free 2 hour parking)
Will definitely be back as I really want to try their fish curry.
Passed by this morning. Stopped the car to find out what's today special. What a good combination to have both chicken biryani and non-spicy curry goat for breakfast. Take away Nasi Lemak for homebound. The Nasi Lemak here is different, they use basmati rice and cook with coconut milk, ginger and other ingredients. Soft, fluffy, well seasoned, non-sticky, warm and aromatic as well. Love it! (2021-05-31)
Previously the corner shop is 'Cafe 935'. A new restaurant businessman took over a few months ago. I like the soft, fluffy, well seasoned, flavourful and nice briyani rice. The curry lamb / goat is nice. Each day the menu is slightly different. The lady boss is very kind and friendly. Mr Singh, the boss, is a easy going person. More relax la! Ha, ha. The food taste a bit like a home cook food type and perhaps is what it advertised as 'Authentic Family Recipes'. Sunday menu is different too. Find out mate! Cheers! (2021-March/April)
Overall this was a good Malaysian restaurant in Vic Park and it had great lamb and chicken curry. It has limited seating and the waitress was very nice. My only problem with it is that there were so many flies. I would suggest to use a flyscreen door. The food is pretty good and it is popular.
Quaint little corner shop selling delicious food. I had the chicken briyani and my wife had the Indian rojak. The briyani was the dry type, not much gravy but delicious. They were kind enough to accommodate my request for chicken breast piece even though they were busy so kudos to them. My wife enjoyed the Indian rojak although she would have liked more fried items to be included. Overheard from a nearby table that the fish curry is good, so noted for next visit. Also saw Tauhu goreng on the menu, so another visit is a must! 2P street parking all around the vicinity so finding a spot shouldn't be a problem.
